Why Did The Beeb Move Blue Peter to the CBBC Channel

"When I've heard that that they're moving Blue Peter to the CBBC Channel, I was shocked. Blue Peter has been my favourite programme since I was three. Renna, my neighbour's daughter say that 'My mom and dad got Freeview and the channel's available. Would you like to watch an episode?'
I was very happy to hear that.

A day at the races

I was at the the Philadelphia Pro Cycling Championships on Sunday. Just like last year, it was full of  good racers and lots and lots of fans that are brewing it up while cheering for their favorite cyclists. (LOL) This is my third time seeing the race live (not just on TV) This year's race is one of the best planned out races yet, the amateurs went first, then the mens' teams and the women's teams went after. That race makes me just want to get on a bike again (since my bike is too small!

The Chooks of "Fresh Eggs Daily" (A set of fanpics)

When I drew these for some fellow Bloggers and their blog, "Fresh Eggs Daily" which is their blog to help jumpstart urban farming. Here are some of the Admins drawn as the hens that they are looking after.

Here's Yvette  as an Americuna (aka "Easter Eggers") looking after a chick that has hatched. (The chick's an Maran, the chooks who lay chocolate colored eggs)

"I'm Yvette, I talk to the owners of backyard Hens and Roosters that are along the West Coast; from Oregon to sunny California. Yep, They are those owners out there and I'm glad to communicate with those owners."

This is the head admin of the blog and the Facebook fanpage of "FED", Lisa; drawn as a Buff Orphington (one of my favorite breeds!) watching some chicks for the day. (The chicks themselves are Leghorn and New Hampshire Red).
"I'm Lisa, and I know, that's, ahem, me watching over the chicks that we've currently hatched in last few weeks.
Check out our page on Facebook and also here on Blogger at fresh-eggs-daily.blogspot.com."

And lastly, there's Suzanne. She's drawn as a Barred Rock (another favorite breed of mine!) I wonder how she would balence that egg like that. Guess we don't know... "As the Mid-West Admin, They are plenty of backyard chicken owners, that's where I come in: I get to talk to the same owners and yep, have a chance to check some of the owners' eggs. Cool, huh?"

An Egg-citing Find! (LMAO)

April 6:
Nita Finds One Of Sharon's Eggs (and her niece!)

"There was this cute kid, Nita Rojas-Lopez was her name, who traveled from Philly to down here in Chester and finds out that my aunt, Sharon paints her own eggs (since she's a Easter Egger, she lays pastel colored eggs). 'So your tia paints her eggs? She's very talented!' Oh shucks, she was surprised."

The Egg Nogger (LOL)

This was put up on Dec. 12.

"As the timid Faverolles gal in South Jersey, I love this time of the year. Some of my neighbors would call me to make and sell egg nog, so they would help me pick the eggs suitable for the nog. Me, heh, I REALLY check the eggs, too.
Then, I would make the nog and then, it'll be ready just in time for X-MAS.
Happy Holidays! (oh and don't overdo the egg nog. LOL)

Tube Chicks-- July 21: 95 Cameras... Watching Their Every Move...

"I was at Allie McAdams' house and we gals are talking about Big Brother; it's one of the revolutionary shows in decades. Cameras watching over thirteen to sixteen people with every move detected. Yes. EVERYTHING. I was asking Allie have she seen the show, she replied 'My sister, Lorrie, watches the show and she works at the show also!'

I was shocked over that fact."

Sorry I haven't been on that long...

...As you may know, I'm still in college, I got two computers and yeah, I'm still drawing the strip.
Speaking of that, I've got a true spinoff to my 6 year old series, "Cluck!", called "Tube Chicks"
Here's one of the panels:
"I was watching some Playdays episodes on YouTube and I was amazed on how they have these ideas for each episode for each days of the week. I asked Aderyn Hywel had she watched the programme when she was little, she replied; 'I've watched it since I was five! I even watched Playdays Y'n y Gymraeg! Yep. I watched it in Welsh.' I knew she liked Playdays easily."

It's Been A While

But I'm back and I've got my 5th anniversary comic that I drew last Sunday . Hope you like.

"I'm back being New England's "Chicksitter", after having my kids, and one of my friends, Penelope Jones' (she works for Channel 7 here in Beantown) chicks that had hatched last Summer, Patrick has started talking real good. Though he doesn't speak clearly on big words, he has been sounding out some words since he has hatched, though. He's very cute, too."

Rotten Egg Of The Month: Automated Door Announcements On The Broad Street Line

"DAWS CLOSIN'" AAAACK!!!!

This is nuts!!! I thought it was a good idea, but it's starting to get annoying. That "Doors Closing" piece of nonsense, on The Broad Street Subway is the worst fail in SEPTA's behalf to "Keep Up or Keep Out" to modernize the 28 year old cars. The original klaxon is good enough, but noooooo they want automation like the El cars, copycatting wannabes!!!!
It's making me sick to my ears.

Fail Of The Month! AUGUST: The 5th Street Tunnel

Before 1986, The 5th Street Tunnel was mostly used for just trolleys. Somebody didn't tell SEPTA that PennDOT (or whoever pwned the tracks and dismantled the wires and such) that they made the once efficient tunnel just made it into just an eyesore for trolley enthusiasts (like yours truly) and a joy for Commonwealth motorists.

Fair?
I call it FAIL!!!

I mean why would they try to do suc-- OH YEEEAAHHH, SEPTA DISCONTINUED THE ROUTE 50 IN 1980--ANOTHER FAIL!!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKIN'?!?!?
They covered the rest of the tracks in late '86 and that was that.
A big fail for whoever messed up the 5th Street Tunnel. AND A
BIGGER FAIL FOR SEPTA FOR NOT DOIN' SOMETHIN' 'BOUT IT (Oh wait they did do something 'bout it, they MADE THE 50 INTO A BUS IN '81--ANOTHER FAIL!!!!

That's it, I can't stand what those nuts did in '85. I can't stand it.
